Beliefs

People:
 

We believe that all people matter to God and that He has called us to reach out in the community, both locally and globally, with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We must be effective as leaders in order to develop and nurture other students and adults who will also be leaders.

We believe in maintaining a standard of excellence that reflects positive Christian role modeling. Our standard of excellence, giving our best with what we have to offer, will keep our efforts humble and intact.

Prayer:
 

We believe that prayer is never ending. It is an integral part of our faith journey and vital in our attempt to do God’s work in the world. In Ephesians 6:18a we are told to “Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit.”

God’s Word:
 

We believe that The Word of God must be presented with accuracy and relevance for life transformation and growth.

Devotion:
 

We believe that God desires, and is worthy of our wholehearted devotion and passionate spirituality.

Worship:
 

We whole-heartedly believe in worship. We will model meaningful, spiritual worship that encourages students to model that worship experience to their own friends, family, youth group and home congregation.

 

Holy Spirit Empowerment:
 

We believe in the ability to experience and know the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.

Loving Relationships:

 

We believe that in order to develop deeper relationships, we must provide an atmosphere that is friendly, nurturing and loving.

Gift-Oriented Ministry:
 

We believe it is important to assemble, and encourage students and adults to share their gifts with our Lord.

The Church:

We believe that the Church is the Bride of Christ and that all believers can be connected together and serve Christ as one body.
